Last June, Stella Dimitrakopoulou, Joao Lima Duque and Virginie Litzler, three Trinity Laban PhD candidates, presented their work and research at The Royal College of Art. This May, Tanja Verlak, Amelie Mourgue, Julian Lass and Azadeh Fatehrad, four PhD candidates from The Royal College of Art, will present theirs at Trinity Laban.

This one-day seminar will also include a presentation by James Steventon, artist and lecturer at London Metropolitan University; and a talk by Jonathan Clark, Head of Research at Trinity Laban.

James will discuss ideas around the rhythm of the run: the point where movement becomes running. After introducing the running body as a site for performance research, James will present how philosophical, corporeal and musical rhythms manifest themselves in his running based practice.
